Job summary

Meyer Jabara Hotels' Hilton Ocala property is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, oversee preventive maintenance, and ensure guest rooms, public areas and systems operate safely and efficiently.

You will supervise the maintenance staff, plan repairs, manage safety standards, and coordinate with other departments to support guest satisfaction and hotel performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance or engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Related technical certifications are a plus.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and develop maintenance associates.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all preventive maintenance and repair work.
• Supervise daily operations of the maintenance department.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to identify maintenance needs.
• Repair and maintain electrical systems, including lighting, outlets, and televisions.
• Maintain HVAC equipment and ensure systems are clean and operating efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing systems, including toilets, sinks, faucets, and bathtubs.
• Complete touch-up work including painting, grouting, furniture repairs, and fixture replacement.
• Replace light bulbs, lamps, switches, filters, hardware, and other building components as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel maintenance procedures.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
