Qualifications

  • High School Diploma is required; an Associate’s Degree or Technical School diploma is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the physical operations of the property, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, water treatment, electric systems, and grounds/landscaping.
  • Operate and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS), identifying deficiencies and implementing corrective actions.
  • Execute and maintain the property's preventative maintenance program.
  • Develop and manage energy conservation initiatives to reduce operational costs.
  • Create and lead emergency response programs and conduct regular safety inspections and drills.
  • Ensure compliance with all local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed operational records for auditing and efficiency.
  • Train and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
  • Hire, schedule, and evaluate maintenance personnel performance.
  • Participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) program and oversee departmental administration.
  • Develop and manage the departmental budget in alignment with organizational guidelines.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee competitive bidding processes.

Job description

This roleis responsible forsupervising daily maintenance activities, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the propertyoperatesefficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulations.

Travel

Local and regional travel isrequiredresulting in overnight trips. This position requires the successful candidate to have a valid Driver’s license. The successful candidate would have to provide proof that s/he has a valid driver’s license upon being hired.
