Job description

The Maintenance Manager provides leadership and oversight for all maintenance and landscaping operations related to the physical upkeep of the hotel and its outlets. This roleis responsible forsupervising daily maintenance activities, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the propertyoperatesefficiently, safely, and in compliance with all regulations.

Essential Functions:
  • Oversee the physical operations of the property, including HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, water treatment, electrical systems, and grounds/landscaping.
  • Operate and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS),identifyingdeficienciesand implementing corrective actions.
  • Execute andmaintainthe property's preventative maintenance program.
  • Develop and manage energy conservation initiatives to reduce operational costs.
  • Create and lead emergency response programs and conduct regular safety inspections and drills.
  • Ensure compliance with all local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Maintain detailed operational records for auditing and efficiency.
  • Train and supervise maintenance staff, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
  • Hire, schedule, and evaluate maintenance personnel performance.
  • Participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) program and oversee departmental administration.
  • Develop and manage the departmental budget in alignment with organizational guidelines.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee competitive bidding processes.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High School Diplomarequired;Associate's Degreeor Technical School diploma preferred

Travel

Local and regional travel isrequiredresulting in overnight trips. This position requires the successful candidate to have a valid Driver's license. The successful candidate would have to provide proof that s/he has a valid driver's license upon being hired.
