Job summary

World Equestrian Center Ocala, FL is seeking a Facilities Associate Overnight to support daily maintenance, cleanliness, and facility operations across hotels, arenas, expo centers, and public spaces. You will work with Facilities, Engineering, Housekeeping, and Operations to uphold high standards for safety, appearance, and guest experience.

The role involves routine upkeep, inspections, and minor repairs, with a focus on delivering a welcoming environment for guests, exhibitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical, vocational, or trade school training preferred.
• 1–3 years facilities/maintenance or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of facilities, grounds, equipment, and public areas.
• Conduct daily inspections to identify maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs for building systems and equipment.
• Respond to facility service requests and work orders promptly.
• Support event setup and breakdown activities and move furniture/equipment as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance standards across facilities and grounds.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to management.
• Assist with minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
• Operate facility equipment and tools safely.
• Maintain records of completed work orders and inspections.
• Support teams during special events and emergencies.
