Job summary

Encore Hospitality seeks a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across the hotel, ensuring safe, clean, and fully functional facilities. You will troubleshoot issues, maintain records, and support guest satisfaction by addressing room and public-space maintenance needs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and relevant technical certifications, with 1–3 years in facility maintenance, preferably in hospitality.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical certifications in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or a related field are preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and repairs of the hotel’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Troubleshoot issues with equipment, systems, and appliances, identifying problems and executing timely repairs.
Ensure guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas are properly maintained and in good working order.
Conduct minor carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs as needed.
Ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a safe, efficient, and timely manner to minimize disruption to hotel operations and guests.
Assist in maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition and keeping maintenance logs up to date.
