Job summary

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee is seeking an Engineer to help maintain our iconic property and support the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of our guests and associates. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Ideal candidates troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, respond to maintenance requests, and uphold brand standards while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or trade school training preferred.
• Experience in maintenance or hotel facilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest and associate maintenance requests, delivering exceptional customer service.
• Maintain the interior and exterior of the hotel property to company and brand standards.
• Follow all OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and daily shift reports accurately and on time.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction while assisting with utility and cost-control initiatives.
