The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee seeks an Engineer to keep our iconic property running safely and efficiently. You will maintain HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance to support guest comfort and safety.

Requires EPA Section 608 certification and 3+ years of facilities experience; strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for timely, service-oriented responses in a 24/7 hotel environment.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification required for refrigerant handling.
• 3+ years in engineering, maintenance, or facilities role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and guest service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize hotel building systems (HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair facility issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Respond to maintenance requests with professional guest service.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper refrigerant handling.
