Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school coursework preferred.
• 3-6 years of experience in hotel engineering, facilities maintenance, or related field.
• Experience in a full-service hotel or similar environment preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to perform preventive maintenance and independent repairs across multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal room condition and guest comfort.
• Address HVAC, plumbing fixtures, electrical components, and finishes with minimal guest disruption.
• Identify issues and recommend proactive repairs to prevent guest dissatisfaction.
• Maintain lighting, climate control, and aesthetics in lobbies, meeting spaces, dining outlets, and recreational areas.
• Support event setups and breakdowns by ensuring reliable power, climate, and equipment functionality.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify safety or appearance deficiencies.
• Maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems supporting hotel operations.
• Assist with kitchen, laundry, and support equipment maintenance.
• Participate in life-safety system testing and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs as directed.
• Execute PM schedules and close work orders accurately.
• Participate in emergency response and on-call rotations.
