Marriott in Houston is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation of hotel facilities within a world-class hospitality environment. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and guestroom systems, respond to service requests, and support renovations and upgrades.

• HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Electrical troubleshooting and repair.
• Plumbing diagnosis and repair.
• General carpentry and drywall repair.
• Preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Use of hand and power tools safely.
• Reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Building automation and control systems basics.
• CMMS and digital work order management.
• Knowledge of safety, fire, and building codes.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests with timely, quality repairs.
• Inspect guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces; document findings and actions.
• Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory of tools/spares.
• Follow safety, compliance, and environmental policies including lockout/tagout and OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team to prioritize work and share knowledge.
• Provide on-call support, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
