Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests with timely, quality repairs.
• Inspect guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces; document findings and actions.
• Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory of tools/spares.
• Follow safety, compliance, and environmental policies including lockout/tagout and OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team to prioritize work and share knowledge.
• Provide on-call support, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

As a Maintenance Engineer at Marriott in our Engineering & Maintenance department, you'll ensure the safe, reliable operation of hotel facilities within a world class Hospitality & Travel environment. You'll perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and guestroom systems, respond to service requests, and support renovations and equipment upgrades. Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure safe, efficient hotel operations
• Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, diagnosing issues and completing quality repairs with minimal downtime
• Conduct regular inspections of guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, documenting findings and corrective actions
• Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and vendor coordination in alignment with Marriott brand and safety standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inventory of tools and spare parts
• Follow all safety, compliance, and environmental policies, including lockout/tagout and OSHA standards
• Collaborate with Engineering & Maintenance team to prioritize work, share technical knowledge, and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Provide on-call support, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support 24/7 hotel operations
