Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a skilled Engineer for our Naples, FL property to maintain guest rooms, public areas, and building systems. The role requires a broad set of skills across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical disciplines to keep operations safe, efficient, and welcoming for guests.

The position involves 5 shifts per week with day/evening options and occasional overnight work, offering opportunities to contribute to a premier resort experience on Florida’s Paradise

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience in hotel engineering, facility maintenance, or a related role.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in emergency situations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, and vendors.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure they are in working condition.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies and mitigate impact on guests and staff.
• Equipment Monitoring: Monitor hotel equipment like boilers, chillers, elevators, and fire safety systems.
• Record Keeping: Maintain records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety standards and address hazards.
• Training and Support: Provide training to hotel staff on safety procedures and equipment operation.
