Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer and Engineering Department Supervisor to ensure seamless operation and upkeep of hotel facilities. You will respond to service calls, perform preventive maintenance, and supervise maintenance staff to uphold safety and hospitality standards.

Responsibilities include handling emergencies, managing rounds, and coordinating with the Chief Engineer. Strong HVAC, electrical, and plumbing skills plus a high school diploma are required;

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment maintenance experience
• Ability to perform basic renovation and construction tasks
• Strong emphasis on safety and hospitality standards

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest maintenance requests promptly and courteously
• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel equipment (kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical, guest rooms)
• Monitor engineering functions during off-coverage periods (weekends/evenings)
• Handle emergency situations such as fire alarms, power failures, and safety issues
• Conduct regular rounds of the property to verify proper operation
• clean and maintain all equipment and work areas
• Document parts used and parts needed for procurement and repairs
• Manage elevator breakdowns and other emergency mechanical situations
• Report unsafe conditions to the Chief Engineer
• Assist with parking lot maintenance and snow removal as needed
• Direct daily tasks of maintenance staff and provide guidance
• Prepare and forward required engineering reports and bids when requested
• Attend to tasks from other departments as needed for smooth operations
