Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Maintenance Engineer to direct and implement maintenance programs for a high-guest experience at our hotel. You will inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and other equipment affecting guest satisfaction.

The role requires ensuring safety, performing repairs, coordinating with department managers, and maintaining blueprints while meeting regulatory standards. On-site position with full/part-time hours and weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of hotel or apartment experience.
• HVAC certification.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing maintenance.
• Experience with general maintenance tools.
• Troubleshooting ability with painting, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach upward.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures and cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Directs and implements maintenance programs to maintain a zero-defect environment for guests and inspects, maintains, and repairs all equipment affecting guest experience.
• Creates a safe and attractive environment by ensuring hotel is maintained to safety standards.
• Performs room and building repairs (ceiling tiles, lights, painting, toilets, sinks, etc.) and coordinates with departments.
• Develops preventive maintenance plans and coordinates with hotel managers.
• Maintains exterior areas, pool, and fitness facility safety and cleanliness.
• Prepares and monitors the engineering budget and takes corrective actions as needed.
• Keeps blueprints up to date and ensures regulatory safety compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
