Job summary

Valencia Hotel Group is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage for Valencia Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX. This senior role oversees all F&B operations across the hotel, including restaurants, bars, café, in-room dining, and events, with full P&L accountability and leadership of FOH team and Executive Chef.

The ideal candidate has three or more years as F&B director in upscale properties, strong leadership, strategic vision for brand alignment, and a proven track record in cost control, service

Qualifications

• Three or more years as a Hotel Director of Food & Beverage in an upscale property.
• Strong financial acumen and budget management.
• Proven ability to lead diverse F&B teams and deliver high-touch guest experiences.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage programs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets, ensuring consistent service standards, ambiance, and brand alignment.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, beverage execution, hygiene, and presentation.
• Lead cost controls and revenue initiatives to achieve budgeted profitability.
• Develop and mentor the F&B leadership team and front-of-house staff.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef on menu design and culinary innovations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate events and banquets with precision and guest satisfaction.
