Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking a bold General Manager to lead a Moxy hotel in Charleston, overseeing Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales, while driving a vibrant guest experience and a culture of accountability and fun.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of hotel management, including 3 years as GM, strong financial acumen, and a passion for hospitality that aligns with the Moxy brand. This on-site leadership role requires exceptional communication and team development skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years hotel management experience, with at least 3 years in a General Manager role.
• Proven experience opening and managing a hotel property.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional financial acumen, with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, focused on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of hotel management software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of hotel operations, including Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales, aligning with brand standards and company expectations.
• Champion the Moxy brand experience by creating a vibrant, social, guest-centric atmosphere that drives satisfaction and loyalty.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team; foster an engaging culture built on accountability, creativity, and fun.
• Drive financial performance by managing budgets, forecasting revenue, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability across all departments.
• Actively engage with guests, resolve concerns in real time, and ensure service recovery exceeds expectations.
• Oversee the Food & Beverage program, ensuring quality and a lively social environment.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to implement strategies that increase occupancy, RevPAR, and market share.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and regulations.
• Analyze operational and financial reports to identify trends and opportunities.
• Maintain the asset through maintenance planning and capital improvement oversight.
• Build relationships with ownership, vendors, and the local community to support growth.
