Job summary

Lexima Lodging’s Moxy Charleston location seeks a bold General Manager to lead a dynamic hotel team and deliver memorable guest experiences. You will drive operational excellence, create a vibrant, social atmosphere, and set the standard in line with the Moxy brand.

The role requires 5–7 years of hotel management, including 3 years as GM, with strong leadership, financial acumen, and a track record of successful openings and property management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of hotel management experience, with at least 3 years as a General Manager.
• Proven experience in opening and managing a hotel property.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead all hotel operations across Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sales.
• Champion the Moxy brand experience with a vibrant, guest-centric atmosphere.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team and foster an engaging culture.
• Manage budgets, forecast revenue, control costs, and maximize profitability.
• Engage with guests to resolve concerns and ensure service recovery.
• Oversee F&B quality and a lively social environment consistent with Moxy.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to improve occupancy and market share.
• Ensure compliance with policies, brand standards, and regulations.
• Analyze reports for trends and opportunities; plan preventive maintenance.
• Build relationships with ownership, vendors, and community.
