Job summary

Lodgco is seeking an experienced Canopy by Hilton Grand Rapids Downtown events and social content enthusiast-manager to coordinate large functions and drive social media impact. This role supports sales teams with client communication, proposals and post-event follow-ups while ensuring a premium guest experience.

Responsibilities include managing event spaces, coordinating with operations and vendors, and maintaining content across social platforms to boost visibility and revenue.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience required.
• Event Management or Hospitality degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all events and group business as contracted by the sales team.
• Answer client calls promptly and professionally.
• Respond to sales inquiries with timely, accurate follow-ups.
• Solicit new business based on hotel needs.
• Sell and tour meeting spaces; provide information on hotel options.
• Meet or exceed sales and activity goals set by leadership.
• Prepare proposals, contracts and required forms as directed.
• Communicate with departments and vendors to execute events to client satisfaction.
• Manage inventory, room condition and site visits for events.
• Schedule setup, breakdown, cleaning and service of meeting spaces.
• Maintain organized file management and client records.
• Develop customer relationships through professional communication.
