Job summary

Accor is seeking an energetic hotel events sales professional to manage enquiries and convert leads into bookings for meetings, conferences, and social events. You will build proposals detailing venue, catering, AV, and guestroom needs, and maintain strong client relationships.

With 1–3 years in hotel events or MICE, you excel at coordinating multiple inquiries, closing deals, and upselling packages. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems, plus fluent English, are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in hotel events sales, banqueting sales or MICE.
• Understanding of event proposals, banquet packages, function-space selling, contracts and client handovers.
• Strong customer-service mindset with commercial instinct, follow-up discipline and ability to close business.
• Excellent coordination and attention to detail; able to handle multiple enquiries and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent professional English, spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with hotel sales, events or CRM systems are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own event enquiries.
• Manage leads for meetings, conferences, training, and social events from qualification to booking.
• Create accurate proposals covering venue, catering, AV, guestroom needs, and upsell packages; follow up consistently to secure decisions.
• Host client visits; arrange and conduct venue showrounds and detailed needs assessments.
• Capture comprehensive event requirements and hand over confirmed business, timelines and revisions to Event Planning / Operations.
• Build repeat business by developing relationships with corporate bookers, planners and social-event clients.
