Job summary

Davidson Hospitality Group’s Little Rock Marriott seeks an Event Planning Manager to coordinate all event aspects from planning to execution. You will serve as a liaison between customers and hotel sales, providing direction and supervision during meetings and banquets.

You’ll be available on-site to solve issues and suggest alternatives to arrangements. In a fast-paced environment, you’ll manage group room blocks, F&B, public meeting spaces, and billing, delivering memorable guest experiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience; 1-year food and beverage experience.
• Strong negotiation and contract interpretation skills.
• Clear written and verbal business communication.
• Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office.
• Professional appearance and confidence.
• Effective communication with the public and team members.
• Strong time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with Hospitality Sales CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of events from planning to execution.
• Serve as liaison between customer and hotel sales to provide direction during events.
• Provide supervision during event execution and be available to resolve issues.
• Manage logistics of group room blocks, food & beverage, and meeting space.
• Oversee billing processes and ensure client satisfaction during events.
