Job summary

Encore Global in Honolulu seeks a Property IT/Network Technician to manage IT operations, network infrastructure, and client-facing services at the venue. You will maintain equipment, support events, and deliver outstanding service to hotel guests.

Reporting to the Property Director and Area Internet Services Manager, you will configure networks, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with hotel IT and service providers, and mentor onsite staff. Expect irregular hours and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in IT, networking, or related field.
• 3-5 years of field experience in internet services support.
• 2-3 years customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Internet services, bandwidth, IP wired and wireless networks, and webcasting.
• Certifications: CompTIA and Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown AV and internet equipment for events.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain network readiness.
• Coordinate with hotel IT and service providers to ensure smooth service.
• Plan and execute event requirements with high levels of customer service.
• Forecast equipment inventory and assist procurement of subrental equipment and on-site devices.
• Mentor technicians and support the onsite team.
