Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia is seeking a hotel engineer to respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across the property. You will maintain tools, inventory, and safety practices while delivering Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with vocational/technical background.
• At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
• Experience in general maintenance and painting.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Universal CFC Certification.
• Must meet applicable state and federal certification/licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment and inspect equipment.
• Identify, locate and operate shut-off valves for equipment and buildings.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed.
• Display proficiency in MEP categories and basic repairs to guestroom items.
• Train and mentor other engineers and perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities.
• Follow safety policies and use Lockout/Tagout before maintenance.
