Job summary

The Rittenhouse Hotel, part of HHM Hotels in Philadelphia, is seeking an Engineer to perform preventative and repair maintenance across the property. You will handle tasks from electrical to plumbing, ensuring the hotel remains in top condition and aligned with guest satisfaction goals.

Required is a high school diploma with trade school coursework or equivalent maintenance experience. The role may involve lifting and standing for extended periods, with opportunities for growth within HHM’s

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma and trade school coursework in a related field.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance to meet quality and sustainability standards.
• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings.
• Paint designated areas and items.
• Install and replace basic electrical fixtures and lighting.
• Repair furniture and trim.
• Install, replace and program televisions.
• Perform minor plumbing functions.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Ensure work complies with local, state and Federal codes.
• Support guest satisfaction goals and assist during peak periods as needed.
