Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking an Engineering Manager in Atlanta to oversee hotel maintenance operations, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and energy controls. You will lead staff, coordinate projects, and ensure safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role requires 2–4 years in hotel engineering or maintenance management, strong leadership, budgeting acumen, and superior communication with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance management.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and energy controls.
• Experience managing maintenance staff and contractors, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
• Ability to monitor energy consumption and manage inventory and purchasing.
• Excellent problem-solving and multi-project management abilities.
• Strong communication with team, management, and external vendors.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and make safety/ops decisions.
• Proficiency in budgeting and reporting for maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage department supervisors and maintenance associates.
• Oversee hotel maintenance operations including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventative maintenance, A/C units, and other hotel systems.
• Monitor energy consumption to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain an ongoing maintenance program for guest rooms, public spaces, and hotel equipment.
• Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain records of usage and purchases.
• Ensure all contracted services meet hotel standards.
• Coordinate activities with Housekeeping and Security for smooth operations.
• Work with contractors to schedule and complete assignments by deadlines.
