Study Hotels is seeking a Building Maintenance Manager in New Haven, CT. You will lead maintenance operations, oversee preventive programs, and collaborate with department teams to uphold high standards of guest comfort and safety.

The role requires hands-on maintenance expertise, leadership, and strong communication. The ideal candidate will manage budgets, supervise engineering staff, and help implement best practices across hotel systems.

Formación

• 3+ years hands-on experience in building maintenance or facilities management at a hotel or similar property.
• Education or certification in building trades or related technical field.
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with standard software tools for reporting and scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and oversee preventative maintenance procedures for guest rooms, kitchens, venues, public spaces, and grounds.
• Maintain open communications with all departments to identify needs and respond promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Lead Engineering staff, develop team knowledge and a proactive maintenance schedule.
• Manage department budget, supplies, and materials in collaboration with Finance.
• Provide courteous, professional guest and staff service aligned with brand standards.
