Job summary

The First Group Hospitality is looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to manage the maintenance and engineering operations at their hotel. The successful candidate will ensure that all hotel facilities, equipment, and systems are safely maintained to support seamless operations and enhance guest satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include supervising the maintenance team, coordinating maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Strong technical knowledge and leadership skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel engineering or maintenance management, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and maintenance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the engineering and maintenance department.
• Ensure all hotel equipment, systems, and facilities are properly maintained and functioning efficiently.
• Supervise and support the maintenance team in carrying out repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
