Kana Hotel Group is hiring a Building Engineer to lead maintenance across hotel facilities, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. You will supervise daily operations, manage projects, train staff, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while coordinating with management for long-term facility planning.

The role emphasizes energy management, equipment inspections and collaboration with contractors to uphold high brand standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to lead a maintenance team and ensure safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop and maintain hotel maintenance operations including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical and plumbing.
• Ensure projects meet specifications and schedules; coordinate with management and other departments.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment and safety compliance; train the maintenance team.
• Inspect equipment, manage energy use and oversee energy management programs.
• Oversee inventory, liaise with contractors and manage insurance claims where needed.
• Prepare for audits and drive improvements to meet brand standards.
