Highgate Hotels, LP is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee daily engineering operations at our Key West property. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and implement preventive maintenance while ensuring safety compliance and ADA adherence.

The role requires strong HVAC/electrical/plumbing skills, a stationary engineer license where required, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of supervisory or lead mechanic experience in a hotel or related field.
• Stationary engineer's license if required by local code.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations and general maintenance skills required.
• Long hours sometimes required.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Must communicate effectively with staff and guests.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in developing and implementing plans to maintain property, equipment, grounds and other assets in a safe and acceptable state of repair.
• Ensure the hotel is in compliance with all local, state and federal laws.
• Supervise and train all Engineering staff in Customer Service, Empowerment, SOPs and Loss Prevention.
• Create and post all Engineering staffs schedules.
• Create and adhere to annual budget for department.
• Assist in developing financial forecasts and participate in monthly profit/loss review meetings.
• Create and implement preventative maintenance program for all hotel equipment.
• Ensure all emergency and life safety equipment is inspected, tested and certified per Highgate standards.
• Lead and participate in Highgate Hotel Safety Committee.
