Job summary

Bardessono Hotel in Kentucky is seeking a seasoned Facilities/Engineering Manager to oversee operations, preventive maintenance, and safety programs, ensuring all systems meet safety and service standards.

You will lead maintenance teams, coordinate with department heads, manage budgets, and uphold exceptional guest experiences while maintaining compliance with OSHA guidelines and hotel policies.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building construction knowledge is required.
• Ability to read drawings/diagrams and interpret test equipment/measurements.
• Strong business communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays; team player.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel is in top working order and meets Engineering standards.
• Conduct walk-throughs and assess maintenance of structures, systems and equipment.
• Manage Preventive Maintenance Program and keep records updated.
• Collaborate with hotel management and the General Manager.
• Hire, train, supervise, coach and counsel associates including managers.
• Maintain grounds for excellent guest arrival experience.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA HazCom procedures.
