Job summary

Kentucky Performing Arts is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to lead and perform preventive maintenance on central plant assets at our Louisville venues. You will support engineering staff, coordinate with vendors, and insure reliable operation of HVAC, electrical, and related systems.

Eligible candidates have 7–10 years of related experience, HVAC and EPA Universal certifications, and a valid USA driver's license. This on-site role requires flexibility for event schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with trade training in HVAC/electrical.
• HVAC certifications and EPA Universal Certification required.
• 7–10 years of related maintenance experience.
• Valid USA driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance across central systems and equipment.
• Repair and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related building systems.
• Operate and monitor Energy Management Control Systems for temperature and lighting.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors; attend meetings as needed.
• Plan jobs, order parts, and track work requests.
• Ensure safety practices comply with codes and standards.
