Job summary

Marriott Lexington Griffin Gate Golf Resort & Spa is seeking a Strategic Business Leader for the hotel's Engineering department. You will own the long-term engineering strategy, oversee maintenance, grounds, and asset protection, and drive financial performance for the department.

The role requires leading a high-performing team, ensuring safety and quality standards, and collaborating across departments to meet brand and guest needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Hospitality Facilities Management.
• Held Chief Engineer or Director of Engineering on large full-service properties.
• Experience leading facilities, construction and renovation projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term engineering strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Recruit, hire, and mentor engineering team.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and quality across engineering functions.
• Oversee engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Manage department budgets, labor, and resources.
• Direct preventive maintenance programs to protect assets.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Desk, F&B, Sales for alignment.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and brand standards.
• Provide hands-on leadership and troubleshooting guidance.
• Drive energy management, sustainability, and life-safety improvements.
