Job summary

The McCormick Scottsdale, part of Millennium Hotels & Resorts, seeks a maintenance engineer to uphold guest comfort and safety. You will service HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to minimize downtime in a resort-style hotel environment.

Ideal candidates bring strong problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills, plus flexibility to work weekends and holidays to support 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance engineer or similar role in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions efficiently.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with safety and building codes.
• Technical certification or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or facilities management preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge and at least 1 year prior experience in relevant field.
• Electrical, plumbing and carpentry experience preferred.
