Job summary

The McCormick Scottsdale is seeking a friendly Server to provide exceptional guest service by taking food and beverage orders, delivering meals accurately, and ensuring a positive dining experience. You will represent the property with professionalism in a resort-style setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hospitality or guest service preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Accurately take and enter guest orders into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials.
• Assist with table setup, cleaning, and resetting according to standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and participate in training.
• Perform side work and other duties as assigned.

Your Role

The Server is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by taking food and beverage orders, delivering meals and drinks accurately, and ensuring a positive dining experience. This position serves as a key representative of the organization, maintaining high standards of hospitality, professionalism, and guest satisfaction.

• Prepare and process guest checks and payments accurately.Assist with table setup, cleaning, and resetting according to company standards.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and participate in training as required.
• Perform side work and other duties as assigned.
