Job summary

The McCormick Scottsdale, part of Millennium Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to manage and service HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems across a hospitality setting. This role requires diagnosing malfunctions, prioritizing repairs, and ensuring safety and building codes are met.

Ideal candidates have prior maintenance experience in hotels, excellent communication, and a flexible schedule to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance engineer or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions efficiently.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with safety and building codes.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or facilities management is preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge and at least 1 year prior experience in relevant field Electrical, plumbing and carpentry experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks Customer service experience in a field service setting.
• Certification or experience in industrial electrician work.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Solutions-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
