Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management operates Sheraton Galleria Dallas and seeks a dependable dishwasher/kitchen helper to support cooks and service staff. You will handle dishwashing duties, maintain clean work areas, and ensure safety and sanitation in a fast-paced hotel kitchen.

Ideal candidates hold a Food Handler Card and can operate a commercial dish machine; training and benefits are provided by the employer.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to complement guest experience.
• Ability to operate commercial kitchen dish machine in accordance with hotel and health department standards.
• Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to enable safe application of products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Sort and wash soiled ware promptly to ensure proper machine operation.
• Keep dish machine clean and filled with water as per standards.
• Clean kettles, skillets, pots and pans promptly to support cooks.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks using hotel cleaning products per supervisor.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per handbook.
• Assist other kitchen personnel as needed.
