Job summary

LBA Hospitality is seeking a Cook to prepare menu items per approved recipes and brand standards, while keeping food safety, inventory, storage, and cleanliness in check. This on-site role supports a high-quality dining experience for guests in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience, with preferred hotel/restaurant exposure, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a food-handler certification. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing food from standardized recipes.
• Hotel/restaurant/chain/retail food-service experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; associate degree is a plus.
• Food-handler certification preferred at hire and may be required after employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, portion, and present menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain stock levels, complete freezer pulls, and prep the cooking line for each shift.
• Follow all food-safety requirements for handling, cooking, cooling, holding, labeling, and storing food.
• Monitor food temperatures and log safety and production records.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and proper storage.
• Minimize food waste and follow cost-control guidelines.
• Keep work areas, storage rooms, and equipment clean and organized.
• Complete opening and closing duties and restock for next shift.
• Provide courteous service and address guest questions professionally.
• Follow company safety, security, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
• Perform other duties within training and capabilities.
