Job summary

Highgate Hotels, The Huntington in San Francisco, seeks a Cook to prepare food for Restaurants, Room Service, the Employee Cafeteria and Banquets, following standardized recipes and hotel standards. You will maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, manage production, and assist other stations as needed while meeting cost and quality targets in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Prepare and station food prior to opening to ensure prompt service.
• Prepare and display buffet food items per hotel standards.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and sanitation of food.
• Support other kitchen positions as needed and follow recipe specifications.
• Adhere to Health Department and company regulations.
