Hilton Kansas City Country Club Plaza is seeking a seasoned line cook to contribute to a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. You will prepare and plate items, assist with prep, and uphold food safety and presentation standards.

The role requires weekend, evening, and holiday availability, training provided if needed, and a TEAM-focused attitude. Join a property that fosters growth through its Management Development Program and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, Hotel Cook, or similar position preferred.
• Hilton or hotel experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong culinary skills and a passion for food.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Culinary degree or formal training is a plus, but not required.
• Positive, reliable, and TEAM-oriented attitude.
• Must have weekend, evening, and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Assist with food prep, portioning, stocking, and assigned kitchen stations.
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and proper portion controls.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Communicate effectively with the culinary TEAM and hotel departments.
• Support daily kitchen operations and culinary leadership as needed.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative TEAM environment.
