HHM Hotels is seeking a Chief Engineer for TownePlace Suites Orlando Theme Parks/Lake Buena Vista to lead maintenance, safety, and sustainability across the hotel. You will oversee preventative maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and manage small projects under Property Improvement Plans.

The ideal candidate has supervisory maintenance experience, an HVAC certification, and a focus on guest satisfaction while ensuring compliance with local codes and brand standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school preferred.
• Previous supervisory engineer/maintenance experience required.
• HVAC certification required.
• Other certifications may be required based on local needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach maintenance staff to brand standards.
• Manage bids, quotes, and contracts for 3rd party vendors.
• Oversee small projects or Property Improvement Plans (PIPs).
• Perform and supervise repairs including sheetrock, painting, furniture refinishing, and electrical/plumbing fixtures.
• Troubleshoot kitchen equipment and repair heating/cooling pumps; install TVs.
• Maintain PM records and test life safety systems; ensure 100% operability.
• Coordinate compliance of service contracts and local codes.
• Maintain exterior and curb appeal per EarthView sustainability guidelines.
• Promote safety and guest satisfaction through best practices.
