Job summary

Island Hospitality Management seeks a Chief Engineer to lead hotel maintenance, diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, and supervise the maintenance team. You will ensure safety, code compliance, and effective preventative maintenance while maintaining guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include coordinating with inspectors, budgeting, and managing external contractors as needed. A hands-on leader with strong problem solving is ideal for this role.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in electrical/mechanical/plumbing systems.
• Experience with hotel equipment and preventative maintenance.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting property to identify potential and current needs.
• Coordinating with local inspectors to ensure codes and regulations.
• Supervising and scheduling maintenance staff.
• Maintain guest satisfaction scores and brand standards.
