Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Seattle Downtown – Lake Union is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to greet guests and manage the daily breakfast bar, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience.

You will set up and maintain the breakfast area according to brand standards, handle food safely, and stock items to support a smooth breakfast service for guests.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the breakfast bar per brand standards.
• Follow safe food handling and service practices at all times.
• Take inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day.
• Prepare foods such as eggs, sausage, bacon, and waffle batter for breakfast.
• Stock coffee, juice, and milk dispensers.
• Set up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products.
• Set out/arranging cold food such as pastries and cereals.
• Clear and clean tables as they are vacated.
• Prepare and set up hot food items.
• Follow menu requirements as provided by the brand.
• Wipe up spills and restock items throughout breakfast hours.
• Wash serving equipment and return to storage; keep breakfast area clean.
• Listen to and respond to guests' requests and complaints.

Job Description:

Responsible for preparing and serving daily breakfast bar, greeting each guest, and ensuring the guests are comfortable and overall satisfied.

• Setting up and maintaining the breakfast bar as required by brand standards
• Follow safe food handling and service practices at all times
• Taking inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day
• Preparing foods such as eggs, sausage, bacon, and waffle batter for breakfast
• Stocking coffee, juice, and milk dispensers
• Setting up serving dishes/trays, utensils, cups, and other paper products
• Setting out/arranging cold food, such as pastries, cereals, etc.
• Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated
• Preparing and setting up hot food items
• Follow menu requirements as provided by the brand
• Wiping up spills
• Restocking items consistently throughout the breakfast hours and for the next day
• Washing serving equipment and returning to storageReturning reusable food supplies to storage
• Keeping breakfast area clean including removing trash, cleaning breakfast area and kitchen counters, cabinets, and floors
• Listening and responding to guests' requests and complaints
