Renaissance Boston Patriot Place Hotel, a Colwen Hotels Property, is seeking experienced and friendly Full Time OR Part Time Bartenders to join our team. You will be the face of our restaurant, providing memorable experiences for our guests. In this role you will need to be quick on your feet, have a positive upbeat attitude, and enjoy talking to people.

Qualifications

• One year of bartending experience.
• T.I.P.S. certification or equivalent.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale system.
• Excellent drink knowledge and service.
• Calm under pressure with difficult guests.
• Fast and efficient work pace.
• Strong interpersonal skills and service focus.
• Maintain personal hygiene and appearance.
• Must meet legal drinking age.
• Able to work a 7-day rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and welcome guests with a smile.
• Prepare and serve drinks and menu items.
• Oversee liquor stock and bar supplies.
• Prepare guest checks and handle payments.
• Light food prep and service as needed.
• Promote and upsell drinks and specials.
• Create beverages with proper portions and control.
• Ensure bar cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
• Comply with liquor laws and brand standards.
• Set up bar before opening and clean after shift.
• Answer guest questions about hotel, area, events.
• Secure storage areas for alcoholic beverages.
