Holiday Inn Boston Cambridge Area is seeking a Hotel Bartender to join our team in Somerville, MA. You will craft and serve a range of beverages, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

We value strong communication, knowledge of drink recipes, and the ability to handle high-volume periods. Weekend and holiday availability is required; TIPS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of bartender experience preferred.
• Knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
• TIPS Certification preferred.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Available part-time/on-call.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and inventory management.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age of guests.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to provide a smooth and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
