Job summary

Wischermann Partners, Inc. is seeking a bartender to work in our hotel bar, delivering courteous service for guests and in-room dining orders. You will maintain stock, perform POS transactions, and ensure a safe, compliant beverage operation in line with hotel standards.

Responsibilities include knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and cocktails, up-selling, and keeping the bar organized. A two-year hospitality background, 21+ age, and TIPS certification within 30 days are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• Minimum two years experience in a similar position with a full-service hotel or restaurant.
• TIPS training certification required within 30 days of hire date.
• Previous experience with MICROS POS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and beverage offerings.
• Greet guests, take orders, and serve beverages and food to guests.
• Prepare and serve coffee drinks when requested.
• Handle cash, process payments, and manage the assigned bank.
• Ensure compliance with state liquor regulations and safe beverage service.
• Maintain bar stock, cleanliness, and equipment in accordance with hotel standards.
• Provide courteous, responsive service and resolve guest issues.
• Assist with opening and closing side duties.
