Hotel Equities is seeking a Barista for the Richardson Hotel in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on warm, knowledgeable guest service and upholding cleaning and operational standards in a hospitality setting.

The candidate should have a high school diploma and experience with major hotel brands. The position may require flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with tips supplemental to hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / secondary qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards.
• Basic knowledge of beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Ability to read, write and speak English to understand menus, promotions, record orders and communicate with guests.

Responsibilities

• Uses checklists to insure that standards are met.
• Leads in developing a positive work experience for the team and guests.
• Performs general cleaning and restocking tasks as assigned.
• Handles phones, guest requests, and greeting duties according to guidelines.
• Attends required meetings.
