Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Barista to deliver superior guest service and high-quality beverages in a fast-paced setting. You will work closely with the Food & Beverage team, handle cash and POS orders, and ensure menu knowledge while maintaining a clean work area.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years barista experience and hospitality background, with preference for experience in high-volume restaurants.

Qualifications

Prepare and serve beverages using an industrial espresso machine.
Handle cash transactions in accordance with cash handling policy.
Have knowledge about the hotel and local area.
Anticipate customer needs to ensure a positive experience.
Follow policies on cash handling, F&B, safety and daily operation.
Prepare orders according to company standards while meeting speed and quality.
Maintain a clean guest environment and workspace.
Respond to guest requests in a timely and friendly manner.
Ensure knowledge of the menu.
Take guest beverage and/or food orders and input into POS.
All other tasks as assigned.
1-2 years of barista knowledge; hospitality experience preferred.
Experience in a high-volume restaurant is a must.
