Hotel Equities in NW Austin, Texas is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead hotel operations and drive profitability at the Aloft Hotel. The role oversees front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, security and maintenance to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Candidates should have 2+ years of supervisory hotel operations, familiarity with major brands, strong budgeting skills, and a track record of implementing effective policies while promoting safety and team

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory hotel operations.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt.
• Knowledge of financial statements and budgeting.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service results.
• Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures and systems.
• Experience with safety programs including training, reporting and incentives.
• Display initiative, perseverance and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Directing and coordinating the activities of the front desk, housekeeping, reservations, guest service, security, and maintenance
• Maximizing ADR and Occupancy
• Coordinating communications between Sales and Operating departments
• Motivating, coaching, and training department supervisors
• Understanding financial statements and budget, including staffing guidelines
• Controlling department head schedule, expenses, and cost-saving strategies
• Guiding, developing, and/or implementing policies, procedures, and systems to improve business operations
• Managing all aspects of the safety program, including training, reporting, and incentives
• Maintaining a cooperative and positive work environment
