Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle‑Tacoma International Airport is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our finance team. You will work directly with the Controller, gaining exposure to AP, revenue audit, cash management, GL, month‑end close, and financial reporting.

This role supports operational accounting and internal controls while handling daily accounting tasks. You will balance deadlines, maintain confidential information, and help drive financial integrity across the property with

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile daily hotel revenue across departments.
• Prepare and post daily revenue journal entries to the General Ledger.
• Complete daily cash, bank, and credit card reconciliations.
• Investigate accounting discrepancies and resolve issues with department leaders.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Match invoices to POs and receiving docs; prepare weekly payment batches.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close; support audits.
• Partner with department leaders to answer questions and improve processes.
