Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from accredited four-year college or university.
• Accounts payable experience, basic understanding of chart of accounts and revenue recognition.
• Experience with accounting software and PMS software.

Responsibilities

• Processing, daily revenue and cash reconciliations and other related finance projects.
• Daily review of all revenues (hotel, food and beverage, etc.) and post in the general ledger.
• Weekly accounts payable invoice, payment processing and review.
• Maintain accounting records and compile reports.
• Maintain summary of maintenance contracts and leases.
• Additional duties as assigned by management or ownership.

The Accounting Supervisor will perform accounting-related duties and work closely with the director of finance, controller or assistant controller, as well as the department heads to achieve organizational goals.

Duties Essential Functions

• processing, daily revenue and cash reconciliations and other related finance projects.
• Daily review of all revenues (hotel, food and beverage, etc.) and post in the general ledger.
• Weekly accounts payable invoice, payment processing and review.
• Maintain accounting records and compile reports.
• Maintain summary of maintenance contracts and leases.
• Additional Job Duties:Special projects as assigned by management or ownership.

Job Requirements

Required:

• Able to work flexible hours and extended shifts as required and to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with mathematical and accounting concepts.

• Ability to operate phones, calculator, computer equipment, fax machines, copiers and printers.
