Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Seattle‑Tacoma International Airport is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our finance team. You will work directly with the Controller and gain exposure to Accounts Payable, revenue audit, cash management, and general ledger processes beyond routine invoice processing.

This role involves supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls while collaborating with department leaders to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile daily hotel revenue across departments.
• Post daily revenue journal entries to the General Ledger.
• Complete daily cash, bank, and credit card reconciliations.
• Investigate accounting discrepancies and partner with department leaders to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end close and year-end close.
