Job summary

Omni Louisville Hotel in Louisville, KY is seeking an Accounting Generalist to perform general accounting duties and support the Finance Department.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, income audit, payroll, and journal entries; strong attention to detail and customer service skills are required. Candidates should have at least 2 years accounting experience, preferably in a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years accounting experience. Hotel accounting experience is strongly preferred.
• College degree or formal accounting education preferred.
• Experience in high customer contact environment; able to answer customer questions and handle concerns.
• Clear, pleasant English communication with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Accurate data input into computer systems.
• Able to work cohesively with colleagues across departments.
• Strong mathematical calculation skills and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform general accounting duties within the Finance Department as needed.
• Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, income audit, payroll, and general ledger tasks.
• Ensure compliance with Omni Finance SOPs and internal controls.
• Generate daily labor and revenue reports; assist with payroll process.
• Research and resolve customer and vendor inquiries promptly.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support audits and special projects as required by Finance leadership.
